Ibuprofin instead of Tylenol. It is anti-inflamatory and can help ease muscle pains better.
Also, a hot pack or cold pack (or alternating) may help some too.0 -
Acupuncture! See a good acupuncturist (OMD) and your soreness will be gone like yesterday's breezes. They can also help a bit with stimulating your metabolism which helps with weight loss.0

Make sure you're stretching after your workout. It always helps me. You can push through muscle soreness. You'll be sore at the beginning of your workout, but generallly after your muscles get warm you won't feel it anymore. Whenever I start a new workout program, I'm extremely sore for a few days. I just keep on track and by the third day the soreness is just a minor annoyance and proof that I worked hard. If you were experiencing sharp pain, that would be different. Soreness just comes along with getting fit.0

When my knee was sore the dr told me I could keep working out but to take 3 ibprophen 3x a day... 9 sounds like a lot in a day, so I didn't do it, but I'm sure it would have helped =P
I would start out taking less than that though if you do go that route0 -
