Quads question

I'm currently doing the 30 day shred and when I went to do the squat press my quads screamed with pain and were really rock hard and tight. Is this normal? or have I injured myself?

    Sounds like they cramped up. It happens if you sometimes train them too hard or your electrolytes are off.

    Sounds like a muscle strain/cramp, If your using weights you may want to lighten them up. I would rest them and see how they feel tomorrow
