Awhile ago someone posted something about subtracting the amount of fiber in a food from the amount of carbs in it to get a "net carb" for that particular food. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

    Yes, That's for low carb lifestyles :) Atkins, Dukan, South Beach all use net carbs.

    Yup, your body can't absorb fiber, just passes it through, so fiber does not count when counting carbs.
