Awhile ago someone posted something about subtracting the amount of fiber in a food from the amount of carbs in it to get a "net carb" for that particular food. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yes, That's for low carb lifestyles
Atkins, Dukan, South Beach all use net carbs.

Yup, your body can't absorb fiber, just passes it through, so fiber does not count when counting carbs.0
