A friend gave me a carton of Sans Sucre Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix. Has anyone tried it? Amazon doesn't have many reviews on it yet, those that are there are not very flattering to the cake/brownie mixes. However the same company makes flavored mousse mixes that are getting fantastic reviews.

They use stevia extract (rebiana) and sorbitol instead of sugar, low sodium and cholesterol free. The directions call for 1/3c water and 2T vegetable oil, but I am sure you could substitute NSA apple saucefor the oil. The carton makes an 8x8 pan, and the serving size is 1/8 of the carton. This is the counts for the mix alone per serving: calories 100, fat 0, cholesterol 0, sodium 45g, total carbs 25, protein 1g.

I don't handle sorbitol well it seems, when I "have" it it causes me the same problems that people I know with lactose intolerance get, gassy, bloating etc.
