New and trying to lose the baby weight

Hi all.

I've just started this today and can't wait to see results. I have a 3 year old girl and a 6 month old boy, and am on a mission to lose this weight before my husband comes home from his deployment. I'm a little nervous that I'll get in the same old rut of "the baby kept me up all night, I'm so tired I'll work out tomorrow instead".

I love the website so far and see this as helping me stick to my goal. I hope to find some good people to help encourage me not to quit and hopefully I will be able to return the favor.

Feel free to add me.

  • Sounds familiar I had a two year old and a 3 month old when my hubby deployed last. I lost 40lbs while he was gone. You can do it, just stay positive and push yourself threw the touch times. Good luck!!!

I think deployment is a great motivating tool. My son is a US Marine ..he deployed to Afghanistan in February of this year. He is supposed to get married after deployment on 11/11/11. So..Mama decided to get the rest of this weight off. (I had stalled for a few years) and I have lost 33 lbs since he left. He has no idea and I hope to be very close to goal when I get to see him again and especially be there when I have to take all those pictures for the wedding party. You can do it. Good luck and God bless your loved one and tell him thanks for his service. :)
