With a caloric intake of 1500 daily, will I lose weight by walking 3.5 miles daily?

Depends on wt now, and how fast you walk, but yes you definately should.
  • Yes you should. I am on a little bit higher calorie diet, so I am probably way heavier than you. I walk 2 1/2 - 3 miles about 4 or 5 times a week. I am losing weight. I average about 3lbs a week.

Yes, you will. Most of my workouts are some form of walking. Have you heard of Leslie Sansone- Walk Away the Pounds? I love her dvds and they're considered aerobics but it's a mixture of power walking and aerobics. Check them out! BTW- I'm in Ohio too.

Absolutly! My initial weight loss was all by eating right (with reduce calories) and walking 2-3 hours 4-6 days a week. It started as low as 30 min and built up from there as I got more endurance then I made a point to find more and steeper hills. I was in colorado at the time so finding hills was easy!
