Hello all...I just wanted to introduce myself, Belinda, to the forum..I am new to myfitnesspal...very excited though. Could someone please explain the calorie counter because I thought I ate too much (1283 calories instead of 1250) but as I burned 973 today it says that I have 940 more to eat.....I am confused.....

the calorie counter looks at your net calories for the day..... if your allowed 2000 calories, but burn 1000 while working out, you could acually eat 3000 cals and be ok.... what you burn is subtracted from what you eat.0
