Protein Goal

How important is it to stay under my protein goal for the day? Somehow I always seem to be over it even though I'm not a big meat eater. My husband tells me its not a big deal to go over on protein and that its good for me...but he also works out twice a day and has a job where he does alot of physical labor. I on the other hand spend a good portion of my day sitting at a desk.
So is my husband right? Should I stop stressing about protein or should I be more concerned about lowering my intake?

He's right. Over is fine, under is not fine. Think of your protein goal as a minimum.0

Lower your carbs and it will give you more protein.0

Dont worry about protein!! Just keep an eye on the carbs (Sugars) they are the bad guys!0

Extra protein is a good thing. I normally go over by 30-60 a day.0
