so its a few days into my second week of using mfp
i won't have access to scale until i go home next week but looking in the mirror, i can't tell any difference
i suppose i haven't been too terrible with my eating. except for one day, i stayed close (:blushing: ) to my calories but every time, its been at least 300 less than maintenance. i exercise at least 4 times a week. i know i shouldn't expect major results, especially because i have less than a 500 calorie deficit, but shouldn't i at least see some change? am i setting myself for failure since i'm not staying within my calories like i should?
thanks in advanced

It all depends on what you're starting at. I didn't really start to visibly notice a change for a couple of MONTHS. Just be patient! :happy:0

It's only been 2 weeks and if you have been at about a 300 cal deficit it should take 2 weeks to lose just 1 lb... which won't really make much difference in how your body feels and/or looks. Be patient, the changes will be very small over time but they will add up.0

Hey,
I've been using mfp for two weeks now, almost, and ive only noticed a small change.
I'm the type of person that looks at my weight from a glass half empty kinda way. I get mad at myself for not losing weight, even though its only been two weeks.
Everyone is saying it might take 4/5 even 6 months before you notice a change, but that doesn't mean your body is stopped changing. I've noticed my pants fit looser, and my skin looks cleaner. I've also noticed I have more energy, and I've gotten used to waking up early and going to bed earlier so that I have all the hours I can possibly work out everyday. It takes time for your body to change, and I wouldn't be too worried.
I know although i say im not worried about my weight loss, I know with time, and patience I will lose all the weight I want0 -
thank you guys. i was just getting down on myself.
tomorrow's a new day0
