Question - free weights aiding tone up

Ok, so I understand that, to lose weight and not be left with a flap/fold of skin, I have to tone up with the use of weights.
My personal trainer has put me on the triceps bar and cable walk, but can this really be enough ?
Just doesn't see m enough to me, I have a lot of weight to lose, and am gettign really worried that I'll end up with a fold for a belly :grumble:
I use the rowingmachine, treadmill, cross-trainer and exercise bike too, but I don't really see any that are helping my tummy - other than the rowing machine - I suppose :indifferent:

    DUH! I'm stuuuupid!
    my son just explained to me that what I do at the gym is already a full body workout :blushing:
    ah well, I got to add yet another post :bigsmile:
