Excerpt:
A woman said to be from Casa Grande is getting international attention for her larger-than-life dream of becoming the fattest woman in the world.

Susanne Eman, 32, runs an online blog "On the Way to 1600+ Pounds" where she describes herself as "your average gal next door who just happens to have a body to match the size of her personality."

British tabloids have run articles claiming this 728 pound single mother of 12- and 16 year-old boys wants to be 800 pounds by the end of the year, and eventually tip the scales at 1 ton.

Seriously, that is just sad, what kind of person would want to have a goal such as that - those poor kiddos, what a great example they have there.

That's frankly disgusting. Makes me so proud to be an Arizonan. :noway:

I bet I know why that's her goal--because she let herself get to that weight and she figured it'd be easier to just get fatter than try to actually lose the weight. What a sad woman.

Why would anyone WANT to do that? It makes it even worse because she has children. They need their mom in their lives and if she's seriously that unhealthy, she's not going to be around long for them. So sad.

Yes I've seen her! It makes me absolutely sick as someone else said it's easier for her to get fatter than try and do something about it but it's also about publicity and money....so very sad! No amount of money is worth your health or self value!

I just went to her twitter and the Jimmy Kimmel show wants to speak with her. Why would anyone GLORIFY this situation?! She seriously needs mental help. This disgusts me so much, but it breaks my heart even more.

I find this quite sad, once more another woman who would chose to put her body through this. I know I have let myself get large but myself and countless others on the site are trying to do things about it.

Has she not thought about the strain she will be putting her sons under? She is putting herself and health in jepordy and she has 2 young boys.

Im usually a "to each his own" person. But she has two kids. She is intentionally killing herself for some "glory" of just doing it. Those poor kids.

Wow! I just read it. Wow! I am astounded. I do agree she is in need of counseling. Perhaps if someone could talk with her about the health risks and possibly not seeing her children grow up becasue she puts herself at risk to an early grave.

That's what bothers me most: the fact that she has two young kids. I don't understand how anyone can be that SELFISH, especially when they have children.

Come on guys, be patient with this lady. Clearly she's sick as this is not normal behavior. I feel sorry for her and her kids.

Um, well, wow. That's bizarre to me, bc when I gain 5 lbs. I notice that I do NOT like the way it feels and I do NOT like the way my body fills out.

    gross.

I still say "to each their own". How does this affect me??? It doesn't. How does it affect any of you??? It doesn't.

What about parents who smoke? They could potentially be killing themselves, too. Should we feel equally sorry for all children of smokers???

    /short rant

well, it might affect the taxpayers of AZ. Something tells me she might not be a very productive member of society.

I do feel sorry for kids of smokers. and drug addicts. and alcoholics. and criminals. Ignorance breeds more of the same.
