I'm trying to figure an eating plan (meals per day, volumes of foods, etc) and am just curious as to how many meals you all eat a day? Do you have snacks? What times do you eat? I find myself getting so much hungrier than I used to, mostly due to my increase in cardio.
If you have the time or patience and could post a sample day, I'd appreciate that so much! Thanks, everyone! Hope all is well, xo

i eat 6 times a day. mostly small meals or snacks but have at least 1 "lean and green" meal a day. chicken or fish , vaggies and salad, etc. my smaller meals may be energy bars or peanut butter on bread, etc. i dont get over hungry this way and after a couple of days it became normal.0

I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and a couple of snacks - usually one in the morning, one or two in the afternoon and sometimes something small before I go running.
I plan my days ahead of time -usually the night before. I put my meals in first, then make up the rest of the calories with snacks (and yes, I do eat my exercise calories ).
This works very well for me, I find it much much harder if I just log my meals as I eat them - for me this just means that I will be way over or way under at the end of the day.
My diary is open, you are welcome to check it out to see what and when I eat.0 -
Typically I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks. I have a snack in the morning before I workout and then breakfast after I work out. I usually have a fairly heavy breakfast because I am my hungriest after my workout and I prefer not getting stuck with a load of calories to eat in the the evening. Lunch is usually a salad of some sort and the content always varies because I like to use different lettuces/green and veg to add in. I eat at least a half an avocado pretty much every day. It's a healthy fat & they are good for my knees. I also try to get water in before my meals and when I wake up, just because it's easier.
I like to do food prep at the beginning of the week. I make a pot of beans, brown rice or grain & boil half a dozen eggs. I also chop of any veg and fruit I will eat off during the week. I might buy a water melon and chop that up and place in the bowl, Cucumbers get cut up, as do celery and carrots. It makes life easier through the week. I can typically through together a meal in about 15 mins.0
