Thought I would post a quick NSV, some background: I am an auditor and am almost always on the road at different offices within a 2 hour radius of my place. I rarely have a fridge to store mu lunches in and do not enjoy luke warm sandwiches, many of the poeple I work with eat out daily therefore I fall into the trap that it is easier not pack a lunch and just grab something fast. So here is my NSV - this whole week I made my lunches and dinners :drinker: which meant:

(a) I saved money not buying meals on the road
(b) I was able to monitor the foods I was eating and made healthy choices that hopefully will result in a SV when I weigh in! (most important)

How about you - do you struggle with eating out a lot?

Congratulations! I work in a job where it would be easy to take my lunch, and I rarely do. It's hard to pack a lunch even when you're not traveling all the time - but HUGE kudos to you for doing so!!!

that is awesome!! if i do eat out, i make sure i check all nutritional information for that place before i go so i will know exactly what to order. the margarita chicken meal at chili's is 550 cals. it comes with a generous portion of grilled chicken, rice, and beans!! it is very yummy. applebee's has the weight watcher's inspired meals also. i tried the sizzling chicken with spicy queso blanco and it was AWESOME!!! it too is only 550 cals. if i know i am going i eat very lite through the day to make sure that when i eat this 550 cal meal it doesn't take me over my 1200 cal threshold.
