This is not my first NSV, but it is my favorite! I am a teacher and had to go back to work last night for Open House. When I came out, it had started to rain! (Not a usual occurrence in Phx, Az). Since I didn't want my purse to get wet (stop laughing!), I took off RUNNING towards my vehicle across the parking lot, jumped in and took off without missing a beat.

Half way home I realized....not only did I run without thinking twice, I wasn't out of breath or tired. My knees and back didn't hurt from the experience. Did I mention that I RAN? I know that my walking is helping with losing, but this was different. It was real life and I survived!

GO ME!

What a great story. I love that you were able to run in the rain to your car. Yes, it can be done - inspiration to me. Peggy
  • That is so awsome. The days I walk, I try to run from one electrical pole to the next every once in a while. And like you said, it's kinda cool that we can actually do it. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:flowerforyou:
