Hi i'm belle, i'm 20 & on a good day i weigh in at about 155lbs. I recently found out that my dad is diabetic & that there's a great possibility i may be too. So i need to change my eating & exercising habits. I've tried every diet that 'the media' told me would work..but I was doing all that for the wrong reasons- to please other people. Now I know that this time around, this is for me..I need to do this...and i can do this :)

  • You totally can do this! I'm new to My Fitness Pal too...I'm 15 and I weight 183 lbs. I don't look like I weigh that much, though, so I've been letting myself go thinking "Well, I look like I weigh about 160 so that's okay." But I really need to buckle down and get healthy. Being african-american, I'm genetically predisposed to different things such as diabetes, and I want to turn my life around before it's too late :)
  • well you can do it just get started on a training program that works for you and start changing your diet. eating healthier meals.
