Time for new clothes...

Today I went shopping and I practically bought a whole new wardrobe. I have nothing but sportswear in my closet, since that seems to be the only thing I wear these days. But since I'm attending services on Sundays I definitely NEEDED some new blouses. My sister gave me tons of pants that she no longer fits into (way to go, sis!) but I do . I bought print tops. I NEVER wear print tops. I always stuck with solid dark colors (to help hide my size). I felt like the new me needed a new look. I have so much color in my closet now. Of course I had to accessorize with some jewelry and couple of new purses. Its been forever since I've worn heels but I even broke down and bought a pair of low heeled shoes that will look great with either skirts/dresses or even pants. I feel so good right now! YAY ME! I think I deserved it for all my hard work the past 223 days. :flowerforyou:

Congrats...I understand where you are coming from on the "camoflage" clothes...I did the same thing. I know it feels good to break out of that "person" you were and into the newer you!
