hmmm- what to do

I am new to MFP. I have been doing this now for 25 days. I have lost a total of 5 pounds. Seems like I should be losing more. So I am thinking about eating more calories to see if that helps. I do P90X the strength training and turbo jam for my cardio. I am open for any input.

I did WW for 3 years and lost 85lbs and stopped losing for 2 years. Could not get the weight to move. Was so frustrating. I have slowly added back 30lbs. So I would like to get to my goal weight. I do find counting calories is so much easier. I love MFP so far.
