Hey guys, I've started scuba diving and wondering if their is anyway to get a reasonably accurate way of finding out how many calories I burn. Iv been looking into heart rate monitors but I dive to more than 10 Mtrs deep and haven't found any that are that water resistant.

Scuba diving is in the database and can give you a close estimate, but you get a GREAT burn from it! I'm going to get certified just for the awesome workout!0

You burn an insane amount of calories. First its hard exercise, then you are cold so you burn just to keep warm. I used to dive and I would get the shakes hours later because i was so hungry.0

Wow, thanks guys I just found it!! I did 4 40min dives in 2 days all I wnted to do was eat like a pig and sleep. Now I know why. I'm off diving again now fingers crossed the conditions are good
I also dislocated my knee for the second time and hope that getting into diving will help build that muscle back again.
