So today I conquered one of my biggest weight loss issue. Going out with friends.

I somehow inevitably go over my calories when I go out with my friends. Only today I had a perfectly planned day!
I went to work, I had brought with me a delicious lunch. I had a filling breakfast and planned my snacks to even include a little treat. I saved an apple for the end of the day and had a quick snack before hitting the gym. I did 40 minutes on the elliptical (3.25 miles and 400 burned calories) and even had time for a quick steam before I met up with a girlfriend for dinner.

We had tortilla soup and street tacos and went shopping at a great outdoor mall. It was a fantastic day/evening and the best part? I still came in 400 calories under for the day!!!

Here's to the little personal victories that remind you, you can lose weight and still enjoy the journey!

Thanks MFP Friends!! :)

That is wonderful...My funny one was when my son was out of control in a parking lot. I reached down to grab him and my glasses fell off my face and hit the ground. I could no longer be angry, LOL.

That sure is a great NSV. I am proud of you for doing so well. Keep up the great work.
  • You should feel really good about your accomplishment. Going out with friends can prove to be very difficult when you are watching what you eat. You did a gread job.
