RE-FOCUSING MY ENERGY

I have always focused my weight loss on a daily basis...I used to weigh myself everyday. I have stopped weighing myself altogether with the exception of once a month. It has been the best thing for me personally! It was always discouraging to get on the scale knowing I was doing the right things but not having the numbers I wanted immediately. I have re-focused my thoughts and energy to the way I feel and look as opposed to what the scale tells me. I still have my goals in numbers...but if I obssess over the numbers I lose motivation. If I do the right things I automatically feel better and when my clothes are fitting better I know it's working! So phewy to you dear scale!!

I think it is such a horribly addictive cycle. I know I shouldn't weigh myself every day but lately I can't seem to stop. I feel like I’ve been doing so well the day before that I must weigh less. The more you lose the more it becomes addictive because you want the number to keep going down but if I don't lose any or if I weigh more then it just upsets me.0

I guess it's just a personal thing but I love to weigh everyday. I think it keeps me more accountable with my eating and working out. Also then I will notice which foods can and do make me gain and learn to stay away from them!!! I am in maintaining phase though so like I said before it's a personal preference and great job making the choice that is best for you!!0
