Calorie goal question

So MFP has me at 1220... to weigh 135 (my FGW) a persons BMR is approx 1400.... at 1220 I feel tired and irritable.... if a 135 person maintains at 1400. If I eat no more than 1400 shouldn't I get down to 135 over time?

    I would say yes!

    I was feeling very washed out on only 1200 so dropped my goal to 1/2 pound a week. Am still losing between 500-800grams a week and am much happier. Having those few extra cals is the difference between being on a diet and just eating well for me.

    Have a play with it and see what works for you

    If you are worn out, overly tired and irritable -- it is time to eat more. Your body is telling you it isn't happy with how little you are eating.

    You HAVE to eat to lose weight. So, I say gradually raise those calories and go from there.
