Terrified of Losing My 'Girls'! Ladies?

:ohwell: Guess I'm just a boob girl. I like having big boobs. I've never had a problem finding pretty bras... no back problems, etc. To each their own, I suppose.
This is one time when I really don't think the grass is greener on the other side for me.
I don't know how long you have had E's but I was an F like I said earlier and your back will start to hurt after awhile you will get ugly indents in your shoulders if you don't already from your bra. I got down to 130 pounds and they were still huge but if you pushed me with your pinky I might have fallen over :noway:  Hubby and you will love your boobs and your new smokin body!!!:flowerforyou:0 -
not even funny how mushy mine are now and such loose skin (I had two babies) in addition to losing the weight. Even if I put a push up bra on, the loose and mushiness of them don't do much for nice cleavage!  :sad:0

I have to say that it is pretty insulting to all the girls with A's to say that a C is tiny. I think that if you loss weight in your boobs- it is because your boobs are not "really" as big as they may seem, your true boob size is hiding. You boobs will be their true healthy size when you are at your healthy size. Appreciate what you have. All boobs are beautiful boobs. Being disappointed for not being an enormous size is a small price to pay for being healthy and being their for you beautiful child. Anyway boobs are for babies not for attraction and for men, they are their for offspring just like you should be- Health First! Looks Second. Sorry if I seem harsh- I just get sensitive when girls who actually have boobs complain about being "small", when they will always be bigger than me.0

Well, I certainly didn't mean to offend you. However, I will say that I would never get upset over someone who already had longer legs than me complaining about having 'short legs.'
I am not comparing myself to anyone else. I am simply saying what I want for ME. It is not a concern over 'attracting men' I already have one, who is already attracted. I just think big boobs look nice on ME, and since I have never 'not' had them, it freaks me out a little to lose them.
I feel like I have been having to defend myself this whole time. I am allowed to just want big boobs! :ohwell:0 -
I just think the topic of breasts is a touchy one for a lot of women. Those that have "big" boobs, usually have some sort of issue with them. Women that have "small" breasts have some sort of issue with that, too. It boils down to body image (once again) with women in our society.
If you enjoy your big breasts, allenhm, more power to you!0 -
Well, I'm another small busted gal, and if I wasn't so nervous about other people's reactions, I'd buy some girls! And a C would be good for me. But it is perspective-you're used to a larger size. Having always been an A (lucky to be a full B when nursing:ohwell: ), a C would seem big for me.
I'm thinking that as you lose weight, you will lose some of the fullness for your girls. But, if you incorporate some good chest exercises, you can strengthen the pec muscles underneath. My ladies definitely aren't growing-or going, as my weight isn't really changing-but my hubby has noticed a difference just because of the muscles underneath :blushing: I don't know if it would be the same when you have a little more oomph over those muscles, but maybe!
(hope this rambling made some sense!)0 -
Mine haven't really gone down much. I went from a 36D to a 34D. The cup sizes fluctuate slightly with the chest circumference sizes. I've lost some of the fullness, but mine were never really perky to begin with. My bf can see a difference, but because I've gotten smaller all over, he says they're still proportional, or even a little large for my body since I'm short and my waist is pretty small. Everyone is unique, but in general if you have an hourglass shape, you'll maintain that even when you lose body fat. I have a hypothesis that very fibrous breasts will maintain their size better than breasts that have less glandular tissue and more fat. But that's just an educated guess and I have no idea if it's true because I don't go around asking women how fibrous their breasts are. :laugh:0

I, however, will be using this at dh's Christmas party next year.
SBS - that's a pretty darn good theory! It makes sense! It is surprising how many "inner workings" there are in breasts when you get down to it!0 -
I was HOPING to lose some up top, but nope, I've lost 44 pounds, and am still in a D cup! :grumble:0

Makes sense, even though I'm not really sure how you tell (from the outside) whether a boobie is 'fiberous' or not. :ohwell: :laugh:0 -

Well you can't look at it and see it (fortunately) LOL. But you can feel it. The mammary glands in there are hard and lumpy, although some people are less lumpy than others according to my gyno. There's also fat in there and a lot of blood vessels. So if it feels like your breasts are mostly the hard tissue, then you might be able to maintain more size.
LOL babybeans you sound like you're a lot of fun at parties! :laugh:0 -

Oh how wonderful! That would be why DH was/is always worried about me having breast cancer. I could never explain to him before why my breasts were 'hard' if it wasn't a tumor or something.
That is so neat, I love that you know everything. :flowerforyou:0 -
Ii lost 60 poounds and went from a 38DD to a 32DD. They are smaller but they are in proprotion to my thinner body. DH loves them not even thought they are smaller. I would not have minded losing a little more...0

I just want you to know that I was not trying to offend you. You have huge boobs! They look great! I have long hair past a certain point no one can tell if I cut it an inch or two. I feel it is the same for boobs- you will probably just look tighter and they will be in proportion. It may look better! Don't worry, I would never be able to tell the difference between an DD and a D or an E- once your that big, they are just big! They will still be hot and huge! And, just like hair- if you really want them back, just eat a lot and let them grow.0

515TeachNRun, I have considered it too! My sister, who also has little boob's did it! It was such a shock when she came home for x- mass- haha. She now says she regrets it. She has back problems now. It is harder to run- which discourages her from getting her exercising. The worst part, she says, is knowing they have a warranty. In ten years they are at high risk to break in her body! She will have to replace them- and go thought the pain of heeling again. Plus, what happens when you’re eighty? Your really boob will sag over you fake boob- just a mess! I am only 23; I used to think that after I breast feed- in the future- that I would like to get implants. But now I think that maybe I should get over what people tell me is "hot" and be proud of my mother and father for making me just perfect the way I am. My body functions just right for me, why fix it and risk it if there is nothing really wrong- other than a scarred and abused body image? Small boobs have their upsides, your boobs don't sag to your knees, you'll always look great in a tank top, if you were an amazon- you would not have had to cut of your right boob to shoot an arrow- you know stuff like that! You look great!0

I'm a hoot. After Christmas party 2007, dh threatened not to let me go to Christmas party 2008. He loves that I am who I am, but other members of his company don't appreciate it. LOL This year I just made 1 "out of line" comment & felt a strangers beard...and no he wasn't Santa. Long story. That was even me sober!
Who knew a boob thread would get so much attention! LOL0 -

This is true. When I had my breast reduction surgery they were very mushy. They took a pound and a quarter from each side and they because very tight. that was after the firmness went down. My girls were hard as rocks and on the top of my chest for 3 months before they settled into place.0 -
Perhaps I'm one of the few who didn't lose the girls. I actually don't like having bigger boobs since I'm 5'2 and was hoping they'd get smaller but they've stayed the same and so far, I've lost 25 lbs total. My cup is still D but I went from a 36 to a 34.
To answer your question though, it's basically genetic. My friend was saying she wanted to lose weight to really see what her chest size actually is behind the additional fat. I never thought of it that way. Then I realized that I guess genetically, mine are just bigger and here to stay. Because after losing all that weight, I still have the same cup size. It was sad though, because, as I say, I don't like having bigger boobs (as some people have said here, you look thinner when your boobs are smaller!) but I've come to terms with it.0
