Do stupid people know they are stupid?

On one hand, I hope so because then they can attempt to control it. On the other hand, how much would it suck going through life having to admit to people that you are a moron??

    Stupid people don't know they're stupid.. because.. they're... STUPID!!!

    Even if they did, would they not make any attempt to "wise up", for lack of a better phrase, to not be such a burden or embarrassment to themselves or their associates? They'd get away with their stupid actions because people would just brush it off as "stupidity" that can't be helped. But if they made the decision to be that deceptive through logic, then.. wouldn't that make them smart? And kinda manipulative?

    I dunno.

    Well what's funny to me is that no one thinks they are stupid when clearly they are. I am pretty sure that one of us responding to this could be considered stupid by someone. Well, I'm definitely ruled out. I have more common sense than an elephant has weight!

    Don't like it? Easy fix....there's a bunch of words at the top that explain the basic premise of the thread. If they aren't interesting to you, don't click on the thread!
