That's funny, My wife and I always made the Christmas Eve gift PJs too. (So they'd look good in the pics Christmas morning). They were probably 10 or so before they figured it out and knew it was going to be Pajamas.

I hadn't thought about the Hari Krishna thing. I don't have much hair, so the head shaving wouldn't be too bad plus I wouldn't have to wear a tie... man, you're smart!

    oops.
I did read all the posts........white lights. Artificial tree up till Jan. Eggnog with rum. yum.

What the heck is a wassalie......tam's song?

I suppose I should have done that, too. HA!

    Real vs. Artificial?
Fake just b/c of 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 kids 3 & under- a real tree wouldn't last a day in this house. The fake tree is barely making it.

    White lights vs. Colorful lights?
Right now we just have white lights on it b/c it is one of those pre-lit, 4' trees. Before we had kids, we did red, white & blue chasers. We have blue lights strung on our porch right now.

How long should the tree stay up?
My dad's b.day is Dec. 30 so I've been trained to have it down by the 29th. There shall be no trace of Christmas left by the morning of my dad's b.day or there will be hell to pay! Except, of course, the Christmas paper that everyone seems to have to wrap his gifts in.

was⋅sail   /ˈwɒsəl, -eɪl, ˈwæs-, wɒˈseɪl/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [wos-uhl, -eyl, was-, wo-seyl] Show IPA Pronunciation

–noun 1. a salutation wishing health to a person, used in England in early times when presenting a cup of drink or when drinking to the person.
    2. a festivity or revel with drinking of healths.
    3. liquor for drinking and wishing health to others on festive occasions, esp. spiced ale, as on Christmas Eve and Twelfth-night.
    4. Archaic. a song sung in wassailing.
–verb (used without object) 5. to revel with drinking.
–verb (used with object) 6. to drink to the health or success of; toast.

Seems to involve alcohol. I'm in.
