Five dollars (or euros)

I searched for a similar topic, but didn't find one, so I'm starting a new thread... I apologize now if it's a repeat. At least I tried :)

So, everyone is talking about non-food rewards for themselves. I've decided to put away 5 euro every week if I log a loss (well, a .3 kg or more loss). This way I figure I can buy something cute (and smaller) in time for the winter holidays :)

What are your short-term, long-term rewards for yourself?

I know a lot of people who use clothes, shoes, money, tattoos, piercings etc as incentives. I don't do this myself as I don't feel the need to, but I think it's a fantastic way to motivate yourself if you need it. But I think it should be something reasonable.

I think money is a nice idea because then at the end you can treat yourself to anything you like.

I think that's a great idea! For me, I have an outfit I hope to fit into someday soon as my motivation.

Mine was to buy myself a couple of new things to wear. so yesterday having reached 10lbs I bought a new bra, same cup size but smaller (from UK 38d to 36d) which fits just perfect...yeah!!!

A new pair of jeans UK size 14 ( I over estimated I can pull them on and off without unfastening them) yeah!!! But I forgot to check the length size...long, regular or short and I bought the long...so they are trailing on the floor even with shoes on lol!!

But it felt really nice to treat myself to something new and not hide the hangers with the sizes on when I got to the checkout :-)

I think yours is a great idea. :)

Right now I have a craving for fish and chips, so I've decided to reward myself with a plate of fish and chips and a bottle of Cava when I reach my next mini-goal.

Sounds crazy to have an unhealthy meal as a reward for changing to a healthy way of living, but it's not a case of slipping back into old bad habits; it's not something I've ever eaten regularly, maybe once every six months or even longer. Actually, it's usually only when I have visitors from abroad!

EDITED TO ADD: I meant to say, the important thing is to find a reward that works for you.
