IF YOU DON'T START YOU DON'T HAVE TO STOP

That is my new mantra. I know that even if I say I am going to take just one bite of something it will turn into more and more and more. It has been even worse with all the holiday treats. So I have just decided that if I don't start eating something, I won't have to stop.
I am going to repeat this over and over and over if I have to (while walking by the Christmas cookies, banana bread, cake, candy and whatever else).
So I wanted to post this to make it my official start of my new method.
Have a great weekend.

It is def a good mantra! :laugh:0 -
Great mantra, I'm going to try that. "Just a bite won't hurt" often is my excuse and is a lie.
Thanks!0 -
That is awesome if this works for you.
For me, personally, if I don't have a bite of my husbands wonderful food at dinner on occasion, or a french fry or a bite of a brownie I couldn't do this. I always just eat one bite, enjoy every last second of it, and then continue on with my healthier foods. Now, I only do this like 1-2 times a week, but it helps me. It's yummy yes, and I am glad I got a taste, but honestly, eating the whole thing is not worth the weight I used to be.
However, if you cannot stop then it is best not to start, I totally agree :flowerforyou:0
