Long distance runners...Jelly Belly sports beans/Gu energy g

I am training for my first 1/2 marathon. I have ran a 10 mile race and never used any energy products but am sure I will need something when doing the 1/2.

I have read other say they have used Jelly Belly sports beans and Gu, anything else that is good? I have also heard some people use regular old gummy bears??

I want to try something out on my next long run as I do not want to wait till the 1/2 to "test" how I feel with it

    Honey Stinger waffle bars and organic chews are good. Also, Clif has some good energy products as well.

    I like GU Chomps. They're like gummy bears.
