Running in wet grass?

I have recently started to go running before work in the soccer fields behind my house, as it wastes too much time to drive anywhere to run. I life off of a main/busy road with no sidewalks and have no neighborhood to run in so I am pretty much stuck with said soccer field. The problem is the only time I can go run is early morning and the grass is so wet with dew. Because of this my running shoes/socks/feet get soaked and it's super uncomfortable.

Any way to avoid this without running with bags on my feet? I figure I am stuck with wet feet but thought I would see if any of you happened to have some magical idea I didn't think of! Thanks!

You could try running barefoot . . . I know there are people who swear by that. And if you're on a soccer field, you're pretty much guaranteed that you won't run into any rocks or anything. And then only your feet would get soaked!

Ha, they're doing construction on said field so there are tons of rocks :*(

Google water-repellent running or trails shoes - there's lots out there! Alternately invest in wool socks - they're the best for quick-drying and not giving you blisters while wet - you still have wet feet but they're not uncomfortable!
