Hello! This is my first board post and viewing the message board :) I started using MFP on June 26th 2011. So far I have lost a total of 23 pounds! I am very happy with my results. I usually eat around 1300 calories a day. I also make sure I drink TONS of water and take a multi-vitamin everyday. I believe MFP is great because I don't believe most people know just how many calories are in what you eat day to day. I usually don't go to the physical website, I use the application on my Android phone. I believe once I have attained my goal weight I will post before and after pictures. My starting weight was 217 and my goal weight is 150. I am six feet tall. I want to get into my size 10 jeans again! :) Anyway, good luck to all the newcomers...it is hard sometimes but the way I see it-MFP makes it easier to control what you are eating by letting you know how many calories you need to lose weight.
