Bump...I have this one saved to my desktop....but for the Newbies that what to try something new.....Don't let the chickpeas fool you....I thought Yuck Too until I made this.......If fact I just made a batch that is simmering on the stove..... PS..I don't use rice, but couscous0

This is great stuff and for some reason cleans me out good! I remember losing 2 lbs that week, lol. It has some great fiber and something in it helps with the water retention.

I mad this for dinner tonight. It turned out really good, but next time I would leave out the chickpeas. I just don't care for them. I followed the recipe exactly at first, but I thought it was a little bland so I added some garlic powder and more cumin and chili powder. I didn't have any rice so I ate it with a whole wheat pita and greek yogurt.0
