Is it possible/normal to gain a lot of water weight the day of a long distance car ride? I hoped on the scale before my shower and was up 6lbs. I know that isn't fat. Could it have anything to do with the travel? Thanks!

it is possible yess givin you were stationary that entire time and still drinking water... but also we tend to all weigh more at night then in the morning.. some people flucuate over 6 pounds in the course of a day.. i wouldnt sweat it !0

Same thing happened to me last week when I traveled for 12 hours in a car. I was definately bloated the next day. I figured since I couldn't really move and couldn't drink all my water while traveling that it would take a toll. Give it another day or two and it should come off. Mine did.0
