Hi,
I am new to all this and today I have filled in my food and exercise diary.
I was originally 11 calories under my target for the day, now that I have added my excerise it says I have earned 218 calories. They have been added to my 11 and it now says I have 229 calories "available" - basically, can I eat them or are they just a record of my exercise??
Many Thanks
Paula x

Ohhh dear you are going to have so many different answers! I already asked this question. You may or may not eat them, you may eat half of them! I think the best thing for you to do is try one week eating them all, cause you have already set your goal to lose weight weither you exercise or not right! Next week eat none or half and see how your body reacts..... I suggest that you atleast eat a little after you've exercised even if your not hungry, your body needs a little fuel!

I may be a bad person, because I usually don't. Then again, I have substantially more weight to lose, and not eating them back has worked well for me so far. I'm generally burning around 1500-2000 calories a day at the pool (well, on the good days), and I can't imagine I should go out of my way to eat another 2000 calories worth of food and expect to keep lossing.0
