Jogging NSV

I invited a neighbor to jog with me this morning. He is about an inch taller and approximately 35lbs lighter. My goal was to do 2-3 miles. Normally I jog the first 2 miles straight and walk a quarter lap and then jog the rest.

Well my NSV is that I had to actually slow down for my friend. We had to start taking intermittent walking breaks after the first mile. You don't understand, I've never been able to outrun anyone in my life. Let alone someone who is lighter than me... I was a little proud of myself...

Great job!!! Just goes to show just cuz someone is lighter or smaller doesn't mean they can run better. Running is an endurance sport that you have to work up stamina for, no matter if you are 100lbs or 400lbs.
