I am suppose to eat 1610 a day to lose 1 pound a week. When I logged in my calories that I burn on the treadmill which was 722, the calories I am suppose to eat went up to 2,332. So am I suppose to eat the 1610 for the day or the 2,332. I am trying to get pregnant and I do not want to gain weight. Though I want to make sure that I am eating enough calories and not burning off to many calories. I had a miscarriage in Feb and my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I had not had my period for 5 months and I just got it last month. So I started to go on myfitnesspal a month ago to make sure that my calories were good. If anyone can answer this, this would mean the world to me.

Talk to you doctor. No one here knows 1. what weight you're starting at or 2. why you had the mc earlier this year. Besides, very few of us are medical doctors and it's dangerous to get this type of medical advice from your the guy downt the street. My understanding is that you're fine to lose weight until you get pregnant, and then from there it can be dangerous to not gain, you should not introduce any new intense and extensive exercise programs while pregnant, and you need to be careful of your hr level.
Avoid further heart ache, talk to your doctor.0
