Someone once told me that you should eat something within 45 minutes of waking up to start jump your metablism. I've been doing pretty with that (usually I don't have an appetite in the morning). This morning I woke up and my stomach is in knots due to stress and I don't have an appetite. I had a cup of coffee but nothing to eat. I can't force myself to eat cause then I will feel even more sick to my stomach. Is there any alternative like maybe just nibbling on something?

I don't really feel like eating in the morning either. But, I started making a shake or using carnation instant breakfast. Its helps, all your doing is drinking something. Plus its quick and easy.0

If you are not hungry, do not eat breakfast. Modern studies say skipping breakfast speeds up your metabolism by 5-7%. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day is total nonsense and is not valid.0 -
Someone once told me that if i swallow a live frog every morning, nothing worse would happen all day. For the longest time they were right, but after a few weeks I got used to the frog thing, after a couple of months I didn't feel like I had really started my day with out consuming one of the slimy, wriggly little guys.
Now to be serious I do have a banana with my coffee in the morning even though I don't like to eat in the morning because it gives me more energy when working out. that and I feel queasy if I work out on an empty (though coffee filled) stomach. If it works for you, you will over time train your body to desire food first thing in the morning.0 -
From the time I get up until I eat is 2.5 hours, with a one hour workout in between. I never had any problems with it.0

If your stress is a temporary, situational thing, give yourself a break and don't add another thing to be stressed about. Be kind to yourself. Do your best.0
