I bought Jillian Michaels Kelltlebell set............it was cheaper in the long run.......but I can't find it under cardio or strength exercises. Can anyone offer some guidance for the calorie burn aspect?

Thanks, Gwen

Invest in a heart rate monitor. They are so worth teh money. Any Polar brand is perfect and most are fairly inexpensive!!

I wouldn't rely on the database for KB workouts even if it is in there. There are way too many factors with regards to intensity and type of workout (low v high reps, different movements).

Like the previous poster mentioned, get a HRM and that'll do the trick.

Personally, I burn about 600-700 calories during my 60 minutes KB workout, but then again, I keep my HR elevated the entire time with virtually no rest between the 2:00 minute sets.

i burn about 800/hr using 15-22lb weights (15 is my light). my workouts are VERY aerobic with squat thursts, jumps, pushups, etc mixed in. i also take a 5 min break and do abs for 10 minutes at the end...so i guess it's more like 700 in 45 min?

either way you should def get an hrm for this type of exercise.

I'm new to kettlebells, but have been burning 230 doing level one of Jillian's Shred It with Weights, using a 10 pound bell.
