So I work out 5 days a week the program assumes you work out 3 days a week. Should I repeat the last day of the week for 2 days and then move on? Should I do the elliptical on those other 2 days. What did you do if you did the program? I will be doing Week 1, Day 3 today, but I will be at the gym Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday this week.

Cross train on the days you do not run. Elliptical, ARC trainer, bike, weights. Any of it should be ok.0

I personally did weights on the off days as I wanted to let my legs rest as much as possible. The recovery days are as important as the run days. But I would think taking it easy on the bike or elliptical wouldn't be the end of the world either.0
