Hey - I'm looking for a banana fudge pop recipe to get me off my banana bread kick. I haven't been able to find a good one on Google, wondering if anyone has one.

This is way too easy to say something dirty about, so I am gonna just take the high road.

I am getting more PG as time goes on....

Hmmm how about banana+vanilla pudding mix+ milk pureed and poured into pop molds? Or banana + banana yogurt pureed and poured?

Line a baking sheet with wax paper
Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler
    Run skewers through bananas
Dip skewered bananas in melted dark chocolate
Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired
Put chocolate dipped bananas on the wax paper covered baking sheet
    Freeze in freezer

Did this really need a recipe?

i'm looking for something different, like the kind you would get in a banana fudge bomb not just a skewered banana with melted chocolate!

This link is for Creamy Chocolate Fudgsicles and the ingredients include mashed bananas: http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/08/11/creamy-chocolate-fudgsicles/

Katie's blog (subtitled "the healthy dessert blog") is generally excellent: the Chocolate Fudge Cake is also delicious (and contains bananas): http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/02/04/raw-chocolate-fudge-cake/

Well a pop implies a banana with a stick in it.

Since you don't want a stick you could possibly pull it out before you freeze it?

geez...what did a banana ever do to you?!

I am not at liberty to discuss that until the court case is settled.

I saw one in a vending machine the other day that was a banana fudsgiscle style pop, not actual banana on a stick so it gave me the idea!

Just one thing to keep in mind.... when you are inserting said banana pop, make sure to be careful.

As per cosmo magazine, when practicing certain activities with food items, the food could break into chunks and become a choking hazard.

    Shait. I couldn't resist.
