Seeing the fat loss... question

Okay, so this is a bit gross, but as an overweight woman, I carry all of my weigh around my middle (great for the old heart disease I believe), but recently I've been noticing what I can only describe as small pockets of fat disappearing from my stomach. I'm not talking big chunks or anything, and it's not uniform so it's not like it attractive either, but as anyone else noticed this?

Also, the second part of my question, if you have noticed this, do stomach exercises help to smooth it out? At the moment I'm kind of lumpy.

Thanks!

Really? No one else has noticed this?

Stomach exercises will not smooth it out, only strengthen the muscles underneath.

I have not noticed this, but then I tend to gain weight evenly and haven't ever had a significant amount of fat around my tummy.

When I lose it comes off uniformily in each area - I mean I will lose first in some places, but if we're talking independent body parts, it will come off uniformily in each of those parts so I don't see lumps like that. Maybe it will smooth out once you lose more?

I know what you are talking about. It's like it's 'dimpled' in a big spots?? My belly does that. I just dont' worry about it as I know that it will eventually go away all together.

Phew. Glad it's not just me. My worry is that it's not going to go completely, but I guess that's just a worry I'm going to have to get over!
