I read a post on a different website (I wanna find it again). But anyways, the post was about a lady that wanted to lose weight and change her appearance for a guy. I don't have a problem with that. But what I do find kinda disturbing is that she's doing it for some guy that told her he would only date her if she lost like 25 pds. So she wrote on her post that she was doing it for some guy. I know it's her life and her choice to do that. But weight loss and changing your lifestyle should be about you, you are the one that should want to do, not to do it for some guy. Sure she may lose the weight, but I don't think she will be truely happy with herself, cause she didn't do this for herself. I should know, I almost did the same thing a few years ago, trying to change for some guy so he would like me, but I was fortunate to realize this before I did anything to change just for a guy. Losing weight and changing your lifestyle is hard, as everyone knows, but they key is to want it for yourself, MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY, not someone else. I know there are some guys that think a women is only pretty if she is a size 6 or down. But I call BS on that, I know some ladies that are big and they are beautiful! Don't let a guy make you think that you're not beautiful because you're not a size 4. Don't try to live up from someones strandard of what they think you should be. Live up to your own and make yourself happy.

Beauty really is only skin deep. If you are sharing your life with someone, it needs to be for a better reason than 'they are pretty'!
When times are tough, you want someone who will support you, not be too busy fixing their hair.

Exactly! Beauty is only skin deep. Beauty fades on the outside. What's in the inside that should account for anything more than what's outside.

I think it's hard to stick to it if you are only doing it for somebody else and not yourself.
