the extra gassy-ness that seems to come along with eating more beans, broccoli, etc? Any suggestions are appreciated. :blushing:

Your body adjusts with time, I think. I'm a veggie, so I've been tucking into beans and broccoli for decades, and I don't think it has any impact on my relative noxious emission rate anymore. If anything, I'm rather more 'ladylike' in this regard than most of the meat eaters I know.

I think changing your eating patterns generally disturbs things for a little while. Give it a couple of weeks. I imagine things will settle down.

Try taking an enzyme like Beano right before eating the offending foods. Eventually you're body will get used to the foods. Broccoli used to upset my tummy, but after eating it almost daily, it doesn't anymore. :) Good luck!

I've heard a double tap is ok.

I prefer a full mag myself.
  • I have found that if I drink a full glass of water during/after eating beans, cabbage, pea soup, etc, that I don't get any extra gas at all! Good luck!
