I can do pullups....finally!

I was able to do 15 pullups today....a couple of years ago I would have laughed at the notion that I could even do one!:drinker:

Now to work on doing them one-armed...GI Jane style.:bigsmile:

    I'm trying to NOT do those until I'm positive I can. Maybe in a few weeks I'll give it a try....basically, I'm totally jealous!

    I'm currently doing pull ups, but weight assisted. I wanna be able to show up all the boys in the playground too. :wink:

    thats awesome! I work on them just about everyday, and still cant do them without someone helping me..:grumble:

    Great job!!!!!!! It was P90X that finally got me doing *real* pullups. For those that are trying, do them assisted to start with. Use a chair to push yourself up (push off w/ one leg) to get over the bar, then lower your body down slowly (negatives). Keep it up until you can't push yourself up anymore.

    And there are lots of fun ways to do them- wide grip, close grip, hands in (chinup), etc.

    There is nothing that makes me feel stronger than pullups!! :bigsmile:
