are your % set to the MFP default? if so those are very low. I set mine higher to 40% so depending on how you have it set its probably fine0

I don't think going over protein is bad, in fact I try to go over my protein every day.
Protein builds muscles, so getting extra is good, especially if you are working out.0 -

There can be. It all depends on your body's metabolism. However, a protein shake after a workout (or on a day you have a good workout, especially strength training) is actually better for you. If you are consistently exercising, a high protein diet that cycles between the lower end and the higher end of 0.8-1.3 grams of protein per pound of body weight should be fine.0

You can absolutely consume too much protein. Multiply your weight by .37 and this is how many grams of protein you should eat per day. Too much is bad for your kidneys.0

Yeah, you should probably change it from what MFP has. I have mine set to 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat. I try for at least 130 grams per day which is 1 gram per lean body weight.0

Protein shakes are a lousy way to take in protein:

There is certainly a thing as too much protein. Americans eat too much protein by far, especially animal protein. Excessive amounts of protein causes a buildup of ketones and your kidneys have to work much harder to flush them from your system. As your kidneys work harder, they flush excess amounts of water from your body. This in turn causes you to be dehydrated and chronic dehydration can lead to loss of muscle mass, bone density, and can put a strain on your heart. Your protein intake should be limited to 30% of your caloric intake.0

of course not. if someone your weight ate 400 grams a day it might lead to kidney damage.
the macros on this website are weird, it said i needed 70 grams a day when i actually need 150 grams minimum. the whole macros by ratio (40/40/20 etc.) is pretty outdated0 -
If you are already hitting your protein target there's no point in having more.0
