This past year, I was fortunate enough to have nutritional therapy covered under my insurance, and she told me a few great tips!

1) Despite popular opinion, fat, carbs, etc, don't matter. Calories are the only thing that really contribute to weight gain/loss.
2) IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE HOW LATE YOU EAT. The only different between eating at 9 and eating at 5 is that it's darker. It makes no difference in weight gain, unless you are eating MORE when you eat later on.
3) Slowly decreasing caloric intake will help you lose weight faster than drastically dropping your intake.
