Today it was a scale victory for me. I've lost 3.8lbs this past week, completely unexpectedly.

I was having a pretty cruddy week last week. My period started early. I was constantly hungry and eating more than I thought I should have (although mostly good food). I did have a few more beers than I probably should have. I didn't want to weigh today, but it's my weigh day, and I knew I just needed to face the music for last week, and BAM! I'm down a whole bunch.

I actually got back off and on the scale 3 more times after that, just to check the number was accurate.

I was wondering if I was eating enough the week before, eating enough to balance the working out I've been doing. I'd still been losing, but not as much as I'd've liked to, about half a pound a week on average. I guess I probably wasn't eating enough, and this week of eating more than I thought I should was a good thing. I think I'll keep my calories a little elevated and see if that continues to work.

But this takes me down 41.1lbs from where I started at, which is great.

    Good for you ! Maybe it's the phases of the moon or something -- I was down 3 pounds this week too: 10 so far! And I also got on the scale 3 times, just to be sure!lol
