pain across the top of my foot ...help

so i was sent back to full duty at work after breaking my leg and noticed as i walk i have pain across the top of my foot its not debilitating but def painful, i was trying to chalk it up to just using it after being off it for 2 months but its been over 2 weeks and still painful. any suggestions

The obvious one is 'see your doctor.' I suffered a bad knee injury in June and I find that I have changed my walk to compensate. This has caused pain in different parts of my foot. So it could be something similar but definitely get it checked out. Hope it's better soon.0

i'm going on thursday to see the dr. i just wan't sure if maybe someone else had a similar problem.0

could be anything....i'm not sure because of your broken leg, but i have an ongoing problem in both feet that is a soft tissue (tendon) problem from having short calf muscles...anyway could be a similar thing. good luck at the doctor!0

I have a pain in the joint in foot along the top (a year ago I badly sprained my ankle and tore a ligament) and 6 months ago my foot started getting sore whenever I "point" it. i went to a specialist yesterday and had x-rays as i was sure it was a little fracture or something. He says it is the joint and now I have to do physio for a month.0
