Thursday's Child Has Far To Go

Hi,
I weigh in every Thursday morning and was looking for a group to join so I can track my progess against other people to try and stay motivated throughout the week. I couldn't find one suitable, so I thought I may aswell start this new topic that anyone can use if they would like to record their weight loss on a Thursday or maybe check in during the week to see what people are up to try and lose weight.
For the past 3 years (since I stopped smoking) I have been around the 210lbs mark. I started working from home in April and started to put weight on as I wasn't getting out of the house enough. For fear of letting the weight gain really take over me, I've decided now is the time to get back to a healthy weight and lifestyle that I had 10 years ago.
The last couple of weeks have been hard because I have been on business trips and been away to visit family and friends so I have been eating out a lot. Last week I didn't lose any weight and this week I may gain or stay the same, but I'm working out hard to try and get back on track. At the moment I am following the Biggest Loser game on Wii as I find their workouts really challenging and I'm also trying to supplement this with going for walks on my lunch hour so that I get out of the house. I am currently trying to motivate myself to get up for some early morning swims, but my comfy bed is getting the better of me at the moment.

I'll be back on Thursday to record my weight this week and here's hoping I work hard enough over the next couple of days to get back to losing some pounds.:devil:

Well I've just had my Thursday morning weigh in and I've lost 2lbs since last week. So pleased! :happy:
Today is a nice sunny day, I think I'll head out of the house over lunch for a stroll. I've also got some menu planning to do as Thursday is also supermarket day.0
