crock pot recipe

found this some where it is yummy!!!kudos to the originator!!!

1-2 lbs stew meat
--1 yellow onion, cut in chunks
--1 can coconut milk(or silk coconut milk)
--1 juice from one lime
--2 cloves chopped garlic
--2 tsp brown sugar
--1 tsp curry powder(or chili powder)
--1/2 tsp ground coriander
--1 tsp cumin
--1 1/2 T srichca hot sauce--1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and grated


throw everything in crock-pot and cook on high for 4 hrs or low for 8hrs.

    I tried a crockpot recipe as well yesterday. It's low in calories, but decently high in sodium. So, if you make it just chug water with it :)

    Perdue - Tender & Tasty Raw Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, 16 oz
    Hidden Valley - Lite Ranch Dressing packet- entire packet
    Old El Paso - Original Taco Seasoning Mix, 6 teaspoons (1/2 package) (5g) 60
    Black Beans Canned, 1 container (1 1/2 cups ea.) 300
    Red Kidney Beans , 1 container (1 4/5 c (123g) ea.) 315
    Goya - Chick Peas (Garbanzos), 1 container (427 grams ea.) 350
    Rotel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, 1 container (1 3/10 cups ea.) 63

    Add Ingredients in order to your crock pot- DO NOT STIR and do not drain the beans.
    Cook for 6-8 hours on low.
    Take chicken out and shred with forks. Put chicken back in and stir.

    Per Serving: 221 calories per serving 25 carbs 5 g of fat 22 g of protein 971 g of sodium 24 g iron

    Edit to mention this serves 8 people and the serving size is over a cup

    I use mine all the time to cook a roast with carrots & pot and package onion soup mix and water

    or

    Chicken breast with carrots, pot, celery chicken broth ---yummy! later thicken the broth a little and its delish

    or

    Chicken breast , little water and a whole bottle bbq sauce cook all day on low best bbq chicken ever and I sometime shredd it.

    pork ribs cooked all day with bbq sauce and a little beer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUMMY

    You can make Turkey chili and cook it all day Yum, ground turkey (browned & drained) 2 LARGE cans dark kidney beans, green pepper chopped , onion chopped, 2 Large cans Tom Sauce, 1 small can crushed tom, and I use a ton of chili powder and cayenne pepper!! aaaahhhhhh delish !!!!!!!! Oh and I use some of the juices from the beans too !
