When I was in 8th grade, I went to a tiny school where there were probably 60 students in my entire class. Everyone knew everybody else. I had already developed pretty quickly. I've had boobs and my TOM since 6th grade and would get asked out on dates by college guys when i was 13 (i always said no). Well, developed and very mature Me decided to start wearing thong panties to prevent panty lines and probably also to piss my parents off. One day i was wearing said thong panties with my brand new, beautiful, expensive black Adidas soccer pants with the white stripes and snap buttons all the way down the sides, with my volleyball tshirt and brand new tennis shoes. I was feeling really confident and thought i looked great, like i was pulling off the "comfy but hot" look. I walk into math class in 3rd period and walk by my guy friend (who had been my first boyfriend and who i still had a huuuge crush), and he proceeds to grab my wasteband above my butt while i'm walking away and RIP MY PANTS OFF all the way down to my ankles! i stood in the middle of class with all 20 classmates for about 5 seconds before the shock wore off and i grabbed my pants as fast as i could and sat down to button them back up. Lesson learned: wearing pants that have snap-buttons all the way down the sides, around 13-year-old boys, is NOT a great idea!! Especially in a thong!!

I was chosen to sing the National Anthem for my high school graduation. I was pretty nervous, but when I opened my mouth to sing, I started singing "America the Beautiful" instead of the National Anthem! I was mortified and only got a few words out, but I started over and apparently did a pretty good job. But I will never EVER forget singing the wrong song in front of the whole school and everyone's parents and all the teachers and community members. Ever.
