No less than two NSV's in as many days... yay for being heal

So this is my first post... I've been using MFP since about March, and been actively managing both my diet and fitness regime since the beginning of the year (yes, it was a New Year's resolution!) with my partner in love, life and crime :-)
I've plateaued for the past 40 days or so, but have thankfully had 2 NSV's in as many days! First off was clothing related: my partner was looking for things to wear so I suggested we go through some of the smaller clothes we've kept from when we were both slimmer... and to our great delight we BOTH managed to find SMALLER pairs of trousers we can now wear :-)
The second NSV was a resounding "well done" from my doctor: I have been borderline type 2 diabetic for a couple of years now, so I have blood work done every 3 months or so. Today's results show me having *very* low cholesterol, low triglycerides, high HDL, and best of all, MUCH better blood sugar levels!!
My doctor said that I should keep doing what I am, and that with the loss of another 10kg I might be able to come off my diabetes medications if my blood sugars improve as much again!!
So there you go... the scales may not be changing, but the measurements, both external and internal can be showing great improvement!
Hope this inspires some of you... it has me :-)
Take care one and all,
Paul
